This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Saifion ApS (“Saifion”, “we”) uses on saifion.com and in the Saifion platform. Saifion is the controller. For how we otherwise process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. In short
We use the cookies and local storage that are needed for the website and Platform to work: to keep you signed in, to protect sign-ins against misuse, to complete connections to other systems, and to remember your language and cookie choice.
If you say yes in the cookie notice, we also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how our public pages are used (the front page, the customer stories, the guides, the booking page and these legal pages), and LinkedIn to see what kinds of companies visit them. Statistics and marketing are separate choices. None of these services ever runs inside the Platform.

Cookies with names that start with these names and have a suffix, for example __session_abc, serve the same purpose.

Google Analytics is loaded through Google Tag Manager. Neither is loaded before you say yes, and neither is loaded inside the Platform. They record which pages you view, which buttons and links you click, how far down a page you scroll, whether you play the film on the front page, whether you book a demo, and your browser, device and approximate location. Your browser sends your IP address to Google when the scripts load; according to Google, Google Analytics does not log or store it. Google processes the data on our behalf under its data processing terms. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We keep the statistics for 14 months, and we have not switched on Google's advertising features.
Microsoft Clarity shows us how visitors move through our public pages: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, as heatmaps and as replays of single visits. Text typed into fields is masked. Microsoft processes the data on our behalf under its data processing terms, and Microsoft Corporation is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days and heatmaps for 13 months. We tell Clarity that advertising consent is not given, so Microsoft's advertising cookies are not set.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag tells LinkedIn which of our public pages you visit. If you are signed in to LinkedIn in the same browser, LinkedIn can link the visit to your profile. We never see who you are: LinkedIn shows us only totals, such as industries, job functions and company sizes, once enough people have visited, and lets us measure LinkedIn ads if we run them. LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company and Saifion are jointly responsible for collecting this data through the tag; what LinkedIn does with it afterwards is LinkedIn's responsibility, as described in LinkedIn's privacy policy. LinkedIn removes direct identifiers within 7 days and deletes the rest within 180 days. The cookies on linkedin.com are not ours to delete; you can remove them in your browser or in your LinkedIn settings.

6. Other third-party requests
When a page shows a map, your browser loads map images from CARTO, and address search in forms uses Mapbox. These services receive your IP address in order to deliver their content. They do not set cookies on saifion.com.
7. Legal basis and your choices
The necessary cookies and storage are needed to provide the service you ask for, so under the Danish cookie rules (cookiebekendtgørelsen) and the ePrivacy Directive they do not require consent. The legal basis for the related processing of personal data is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and working service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Statistics and marketing cookies are only set with your consent, each its own choice, and consent is also the legal basis for the related processing (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Saying no changes nothing about what you can do on the website. You can change or withdraw your answer at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of our public pages. If you withdraw it, we delete the cookies on saifion.com that belong to that choice and load nothing more for it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, you cannot sign in to the Platform.
8. Changes
We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
